An new development for Galaxy Semiconductor Inc. as of July 31st, 2020: the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) has reviewed the acquisition and we have received regulatory approval.‍

What does this mean? It means that as far as the US Government is concerned, “there are no unresolved national security concerns” regarding the acquisition of the Quantix business from Mentor Graphics Corporation by Galaxy Semiconductor Inc. and we have the green light to continue on to closing!  By this time next week, Galaxy Semiconductor Inc. should be operating as a fully independent entity; once again available to solve yield, productivity, and cost problems while also working diligently to bring you the next generation product portfolio.
