The problem origin may be:
a folder permission issue: Examinator needs to write script files in your Examinator application folder ($GEX_PATH). So verify the application have such writing rights.
a file path or name with invalid character: check if the file path and file name doesn't include characters that may disrupt Examinator. Easy fix is to have files and folders use conventional characters and numbers only (A-Z, 0-9, -, _).
Also, it sometimes happen that your color palette is corrupted and makes the Examinator text or images do not display correctly. In such case, all you have to do is to run the qtconfig software located in the Galaxy Examinator folder and follow the instructions:
From the dialog box displayed, click the Tune palette button then change the colors to something that is
fine for you. Default background should be set to white.
When all colors you want are set, click the OK button
Click the menu item File/Save, the application should write 'Saved changes' in its status bar.
Then run the Examinator again, colors, text and images should now be fine. |
