| LTX Signs OEM Agreement with Galaxy Semiconductor Solutions; Galaxy's Examinator Characterization software integrated with LTX's Fusion Open Platform |

WESTWOOD, Mass. and WALTHAM, Mass., May 10, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- LTX Corporation (Nasdaq: LTXX), a leading supplier of semiconductor test solutions, and Galaxy Semiconductor Solutions, a leading provider of test data analysis software, today announced that they have signed an OEM agreement. Under the agreement, LTX will include a version of Galaxy's Examinator(TM) Characterization software as part of its enVision operating system for the Fusion test platform. Examinator software will also be used by LTX's worldwide applications engineering team for test program characterization and tester correlation studies.
Before new ICs can be approved for manufacturing, large amounts of chip characterization data must be analyzed and correlated. Today, many semiconductor companies use standard PC spreadsheet programs with customized scripts - a time consuming and error-prone process.
Examinator is a software solution that enables test engineers and product managers to perform IC characterization, production monitoring, and yield analysis studies from standard semiconductor data files such as STDF. Examinator's intuitive graphic interface lets engineers generate comprehensive reports, such as yield summary, Cp, Cpk, histograms, wafer maps, Pareto diagrams, and gage R&R, without special training or systems integration - allowing engineers to focus their attention on resolving yield and correlation issues.
